Join online

It will take you just a few minutes to complete the online application form to join the Mercer KiwiSaver scheme.

What you're going to need:

• Your full legal name
• Your residential address
• An email address
• Your IRD number

To complete the onboarding process, Mercer will contact you to confirm your identity and residential address. This is required under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act (2009).

Make sure you've read and understood the product disclosure statement and the important information below.

The product disclosure statement

The product disclosure statement contains detailed information about the Mercer KiwiSaver scheme and its features. You’ll also find information about Mercer and how we run our investments. By applying online, you're agreeing to get a copy of the product disclosure statement electronically.

Providing your IRD number and your tax rate (PIR)

You'll need to provide your IRD number and correct tax rate  to ensure we can apply the correct tax rate to your investment earnings.

Selecting Investment Options

When applying to join online you will need to choose which investment option your funds are invested in. You can review these options at any time by signing in to your online account.

Complete the paper application form

If you don't want to join online, the application form to join the Mercer KiwiSaver scheme is at the back of the product disclosure statement. Complete the form and post it back to us. No stamp is required.
